Sunscreen- FAQs!


“If you want to keep your teeth use brush and if you want to keep your skin use sunscreen daily”

Though sunscreen is not the best method of sun protection but they are the best companion once applied they stay with you. So in this article I am highlighting the various queries I face in daily practice regarding the use of sunscreens.



  • Today cosmetic shelf is loaded with hundreds of brands of sunscreen, how do I know which one is best for my skin types?
  • What is SPF?
  • How do I know my sunscreen protects against UVA rays also?
  • What is correct method of applying sunscreen?
  • Should I apply sunscreen to my kids?
  • I have heard that regular use sunscreen can be harmful, is this myth or reality?

The sun provides us warmth, light and life. That’s not all; sun also showers damaging UV rays onto our beautiful skin. You can save your face either by covering under bright sun or by wearing sunscreens, but both would not work if you do not know which type of cloth or sunscreen is best for you.
