Razor bumps- are you shaving your hair in reverse direction?



Razor bumps are dermatologically termed as Pseudofolliculitis barbae. They are common among people with curly and thick beard hair that gets curled back easily into the skin while shaving in the reverse direction.  This hair triggers inflammation leading to mildly itchy and red colored bumps (sometimes filled with pus).
